Self massage & myofascial release are some of the hottest growing techniques in the self-care and fitness industries. These experiences are being used by yoga teachers, massage therapists, physical therapists, crossfit trainers and athletes around the world! The benefits of self-massage are rich and far reaching. From increased mobility, stress reduction, better balance, improved digestion, injury prevention, scar tissue mobilization and pain reduction - self massage gives practitioners a whole new "sense of self."   
Join YACEP yoga teacher Alyssa Prettyman for a weekend designed to get you "Rolling" in your current movement practice. With a collection of rubber ball, blankets, blocks and even foam rollers, we will explore different ways to mobilize and enliven the tissues in our body. The session is great for teachers and students alike and delivers a rich series techniques that can compliment all other types of movement practice.

This weekend will include:

  • Lectures on why self massage is important / structural & neurological benefits
    • Basic Anatomy Primers

    • Strategy Prep

    • 3 Rolling Experiences: workshops I deliver to you

    • Opportunity to craft your own sequences & gather feedback

    • This weekend counts for 18 hours of continuing education credit with the Yoga Alliance
